BATEAU IVRE’s atmospheric Post Folk conjures up images of stormy seas, barren deserts, and mist-shrouded jungles. The words take you to the depths of human existence between hope and despair. The band creates a timeless backdrop incorporating everything from glittering Indie guitars, folk songs, African rhythms, ambient electronics, piano jazz, and contemporary classical music, against which Paul’s wistful voice rises from mysterious murmurs to emotional falsettos.

Since 2011, BATEAU IVRE has released five studio albums, one EP and three singles, and played concerts in Berlin, Munich, Karlsruhe, and Würzburg.
